Last November, the original members of the Wynton Marsalis Septet, reunited for a special performance to honor their colleague and mentor Wynton Marsalis for his contributions to jazz and his acceptance of the Marian Andersen Award.  Members Wynton Marsalis (trumpet), Wycliffe Gordon (trombone), Todd Williams (tenor sax), Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson (alto sax), Marcus Roberts (piano), Reginald Veal (bass), Herlin Riley (drums), performed several selections before a sold out audience in Philadelphia at the Kimmel Center.  You can watch clips from the performance as well as hear Wynton’s speech here.  https://vimeo.com/150682271
