The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) will hold their annual Presenters conference in NYC Jan 7-11 at the Hilton Hotel. Thousands of buyers, artists, agents and managers will descend in midtown Manhattan to learn the latest in arts management, board development and touring programs. Wycliffe will present two free performance showcases during the conference for attendees and invited guests.

The first performance will be Saturday Jan 8, 8PM in the Hilton Hotel 4th floor and will feature Wycliffe with renowned bassist Jay Leonhart in an intimate program including selections from their CD “Rhythm on my Mind.”

The second free performance will be Sunday Jan 9, 9:30 in the Hilton, 4th floor, and will feature Wycliffe Gordon and a stellar lineup of sidemen including Aaron Diehl on piano. The short 20-minute program will include classic jazz standards as well as Wycliffe’s originals.

The future of jazz clearly lies within the genius of Wycliffe Gordon and his ability to produce an abundance of joy and exuberance. These programs are not to be missed at this year’s conference.
