I had the honor of speaking at this year’s FMEA conference held in Tampa FL and was excited to see so many colleagues, former students and fellow college alumni from FAMU.  Florida A&M’s Marching 100 was featured after my opening session, and I was literally and emotionally blown away by their musicianship and performance.  It was a wonderful event to be a part of and I’m thankful that I could speak about my past, present and future “self” within this crazy business of making music.   A BIG thank you to everyone!
