The composition Blues Hymn was written many years ago as a solo piece for trombone and recorded on Criss Cross Records, then arranged for trombone quartet with rhythm section, then for SATB choir, and now I have decided to arrange it for full trombone choir with lyrics.  So this “Hymn” has gone through several mutations.

I joined the Black Excellence Trombone Choir this past June and since then we have launched several recordings with video featuring members of the group’s arrangements and compositions.

Our hope to spread the message of “Unity” and “Justice” and we hope you enjoy our music.
