Improvisation During a Pandemic

Wycliffe’s newest masterclass for those looking for other ways to make music during lockdown.

“Improvisation During the Pandemic–ways that we use the concept of improvisation to adapt to the making and sharing of music during this time.” (Gordon)

I will expound on the concepts from “Sing It First” Masterclass to show how practical application of improvisation techniques can prepare us for any challenge that we may be presented with, during a pandemic or otherwise.

During this time, we’ve had to utilize and create new ways of performing and recording music.   THIS is the very meaning of improvisation itself–problem solving, improving, creating…………improvising.
